DIY Serenity blend

DIY Serenity blend

30 drops Ylang Ylang
25 drops Lavender
20 drops German Chamomile
15 drops Sandalwood
10 drops Sweet Marjorim
3   drops Vanilla

    Can you please help me follow this one please:
    Do I use a carrier oil or are the drops meant to be neat?
    What size bottle would be necessary if I have to use
    a carrier oil? Thanks heaps

    1. Kim, I think you can add it to a carrier oil if you want to use it on your body. Leave it neat for diffusing :) There are 20 drops per mL, and 103 in this blend - so I think you'd need a 5 mL bottle (at least, they tend to hold a little over IME - you could use larger, it just wouldn't fill it up).

  5. i know this an old thread but i have found a complete list of their serenity blend and i've been searching everywhere for an updated version and cannot find one anywhere. the ingredients now are as follows : Ylang Ylang, Marjoram, Vanilla, Ho Wood, Cedarwood, Sandlewood, Lavender, Vetiver, Chamomile, Lemon Balm (melissa), Maracuja (passion flower) if anyone has found a copycat recipe that involves all ingredients please someone post it!

  6. I didn't know they changed the formula and haven't smelled the new one, but I found that the Tranquility blend from Eden's Garden website is comparable to the original Serenity and so I just order it. It's devine and affordable!

I just bought a 15 mL bottle of doTERRA Serenity and its ingredients are: Lavendula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Juniperus virginiana (Cedarwood) Wood Oil, Cinnamomum camphora linalooliferum (Ho Wood) Leaf Oil, Cananga odorata (Ylang Ylang) Flower Oil, Origanum majorana (Marjoram) Leaf Oil, Anthemis nobilis (Roman Chamomile) Flower Oil, Vetiveria zizanoides (Vetiver) Root Oil, Vanilla planifolia (Vanilla) Bean Extract, and Santalum paniculatum (Hawaiian Sandalwood) Wood Oil. Another change to their formula?
